How do I get paid, and when?
Our organizers by default will get paid within 3 business days of every ticket sale. Organizers in good standing with both us and Stripe will maintain this.
Stripe reserves the right to analyze your business and it's risk profile. Because of this, regular reviews may result in your Stripe account - and by extension - your CFTX account - having a reserve restriction placed on your account.
Most event processors don't pay you until after your event is over. Stripe will occasionally place a reserve, usually just 25%, on your transactions if you have been deemed high risk. This reserve releases after a period decided upon by Stripe, and 99% of the time, it still beats our competitions payout schedule.
If you have any specific questions about your payout structure and schedule, please contact your AE for in depth and personalized information.
How do I scan tickets?
By using our TICKET SCANNER webapp, that works on all desktop and mobile devices.
Give that URL and your doorscan code to your staff, and you are off to the races!
BETA: We are actively testing our Android app - please contact your AE if you would like to opt in.
Where does the service fee go?
Unlike other event and ticketing software: we will be transparent with you on where the money flows.
CFTX pays 2.9% + .30c to Stripe for processing payments - the rest of the fee percentage covers the cost of developing, hosting, and handling customer service.
A small, less than 2% fee may be attributed and paid out to our sales staff, who will use this money to support their families all across the Midwest.
